Guar Seed futures decline on low demand

NEW DELHI: Guar seed prices on Monday went down by Rs 175 to Rs 5,800 per 10 quintal in futures trade.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for September delivery was trading at Rs 5,800 down by Rs 175, or 2.83 per cent per 10 quintal with an open interest of 2,815 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
