CMC Funded, a simulated proprietary trading programme linked to CMC Markets, has selected Match-Trader as the technology foundation for its entry into prop trading. Match-Trade Technologies, which was founded in 2013 and supplies Match-Trader and brokerage technology, announced the choice today.
Finance Magnates reported that the programme launched on 1 October. Benjamin Charbonneau, CFA, Managing Director and Head of CMC Funded, called Match-Trader the choice for the “initial offering”, and terms were not disclosed. On why it was picked, he said:
Match-Trader was a deliberate choice for our initial offering. We tested the platform extensively against our requirements for security, performance and functionality.

Serhii Poplavskyi, Head of Match-Trader platform at Match-Trade Technologies, said CMC Funded gains a flexible technology foundation that is intuitive for traders, can run a challenge-based programme end to end and is designed to scale as the firm’s prop offering evolves.
Match-Trader runs as a Progressive Web App across web, mobile and desktop, with no traditional installation. It includes advanced charting and analytical tools, and the interface and challenges are branded for CMC Funded.
On the programme side, the firm sets account size, leverage, trading periods, loss limits and profit targets. The platform supports multi-phase evaluation workflows, rule controls and trader monitoring, with one workspace for challenge administration, tournaments, affiliate tracking and performance oversight. Its analytics cover participation, challenge fees, payouts and success rates.
CMC Funded says it has added AI integrations on top. Charbonneau said they track every trade, order and execution in granular detail, with analytics that go beyond standard ratios. The firm named no AI vendor and gave no specifics, so the claim is its own and has not been independently verified.
Traders should note that the accounts are simulated. CMC Funded operates separately from CMC Markets, it is not a regulated CMC Markets product, and rewards depend on the programme’s terms.
Match-Trader is also not unique to CMC Funded. FundedNext relaunched its US CFD prop service on the platform in November 2025.
The link had surfaced on 18 September, when a DNS record for the programme’s trading subdomain pointed to a Match-Trade address. Today’s announcement confirms it.
